I'm Lost...

Ok, at first i thought i was having tranny problems becuase it seems like the gears drag out but could it be a vaccum box problem because the engine stays at a steady RPM and if it was the tranny then wouldn't the RPM's raise? Please Help any suggestions are welcome...

ok its acting up and i'm not sure. does anyone know which is most likely. the trannsmission acting up.....or a vaccum modulator being screwed up. from teh RPM's i'd think its more likely to be a vaccum mod or something like that

ok...it must be dense day for me....describe in better detail 'acting up' and 'gears dragging out'. Dont take it wrong, trying to thoroughly understand the problem to help with. dont want to just say anything when we dont know the full problem...

Ok, well when you get into the throttle the car does not want to shift, at first i thought it was the transmission, but the RPM's do not keep climbing they stay steady. but if you let off the gas it'll shift alright. so i'm just not sure if it is the tranny or maybe some vaccum modulator or something like that.

What year is the car? All gears or just overdrive? Sounds like the trans is slipping.
