Best Ignition System
I was wondering, what are some reccomendations of the best ignition system for a 1990 5.0? How well are the MSD kits or the Mallory kits? Or buy everything separately?

From what I've been informed from reputable sources here, the factory ignition is good to well beyond the limits of the stock block. I haven't put this to the test personally yet, but I believe the guys who told me this. Unless you are looking for something special out of an ignition system, I would spend the money elsewhere in the car.

Unless you are using a blower,turbo, or nitrous...your money is better spent somewhere else.

Summit brand systems are made by Mallory and alot cheaper.
