Ditch the Brakes, they will only slow you down more.

Alu. can't be twice as strong as steel, and weigh half. It would be one or the other, not both.

Keep the brakes, add a parachute, and grab a motor off a Raptor or a Harrier or something alike...

Problem solved, itll weigh in at about the weight of the fuckin earth its self, but itll make up for it with the 500000000mph speed runs!!
hahah

Brett!

i know that. but thats what summit claims. dont shoot the messanger, im only repeating information. i think the reason they say its twice as strong is because its an aluminum alloy and not pure aluminum

and while you're at it, pipe exhaust gas directly into the intake, just like a huge EGR stuck open. I heard warm engines make more power

for shaving weight, strip whatever interior you dont need, and replace any heavy steel or cast iron part you can for aluminum (driveshaft, wheels, radiator, heads, flywheel etc...) for weight savings and performance

I've held the stock driveshaft in one hand and the aluminum one in the other, there is barely a noticeable difference in weight. 1-2 lbs at most, it is only stronger because aluminum absorbs more harmonics without stress fractures and the diameter is 1/5" bigger than the stock unit.
