King Cobra Clutch?

Hey I was wondering how many of you are using a King Cobra Clutch in your car. I have one in mine and it is like ungodly hard to press, and its to the point where i hate getting caught in traffic with the car, and not to mention ive snapped two cables with it. My buddy claims he has one in his 90, and i drove it and its like butter compared to mine, goes down nice and easy. So i was just wondering wtf is wrong with mine? Everything else is good, its never slipped or anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

mines softer then stock i had in before, its all about adjustments i guess.

Mine's an easier push than stock.

Mine was really easy for about a week.
Then it got harder. But still softer than the one I had before.
My pressure plate was bad before so it was like a really heavy duty one.
I almost had to stand on the pedal with 2 feet to hold it down.

The KC is alot better and I sit in traffic for atleast 40 minutes each day.

How old is it?
Maybe the pressure plate is bad.

Maybe it is under Warranty?

they guy i bought the car from said he put it all in about a yr ago.

I got a King Cobra too and my left leg feels like its going to break when I drive my car. I've had it for 2 years and it was like that when I first put it in. Its coming out real soon

well it would be nice... lol no i appreciated the links! but i decided i'm just going to have the tranny i have rebuilt.. it's only 600 to rebuild it so i figured.. what the heck?! lol thanks though.. i heart you!!

i just put one in my car and im having problems... the cluth fork is floppy as shit and the throwout bearing doesnt even touch the pressure plate untill about 3/4 of the ways down.... and doesnt engage all the way, cant get it into gear, ne one have this problem??
and it sounds like ur throw out bearing is bad and not sliding properly...

When you get your tranny and start drivin it, go to the gym cuz your left leg will get one hell of a work out, so your right leg will need to keep up.
