Now after I got the engine to around 325-350 all motor no nos, would it be better to tt it or supercharge it? And how much would the heads cost?

1300 or a little more for the heads. If you wanted to you could s/c it but you would haft to find out the c/r and try to get it down to about 9.1 and figure out what kind of pistons are in the car forged or hypereutectic. If it was me I would stick with the nitrous

You should have no problem making 325 at the wheels.

I would find out what the pistons are before I played with nitrous too, especially being a beginner.

what i meant by set in my ways is that i wont by any trick flow heads because of what i have seen and heard. im sure theres companies you wont buy from.

and you dont have to twin turbo it for 400horse, a decent sized single turbo would work just fine

Would used heads be worth getting compared to brand new ones? Im sure a single would but say i wanted to go over the edge that TT would do some nice work. Also about he pistons, im not sure but who would be best to find that out for me? If they are stock what would the preference be for an upgrade?

If its .030 over, they aren't stock. Hopefully the builder had enough brains to switch them to forged ones. Used heads are fine but its like anything else you buy used, if they have been abused they might be shot, be careful when you get a used set of heads, you don't want to get a warped set.

they wont be stock because its bored .030 over. id go with forged dished pistons for strength and lower compression

if you get a set of used heads, take them to a machine shop and have them torn down and looked over before you buy them if the seller will let you.

if trick flow heads have to be debated on all the time the quality simply isnt as high as the AFR heads so i say go with some AFR heads, a cam, and some other supporting mods

trickflow top end...you could see 350 to 360hp on the 306. Looking at about 2500 in parts...thats new heads cam and intake. You would prolly want to get some new injectors and a nice dyno tune. U think 2500 is alot but you can sell your gt40s and cobra intake and cam for a good bit. prolly make back about 600 bucks...thats just my .02

Here is a question, how about taking away some weight? Would that be worth it?

The general rule is every hundred pounds you shed, you pick-up a tenth in the quarter.

and IMO its not worth ruining a car, stripping stuff out like that, just come off the hip and buy better parts and keep your car un stripped. you will thank me later.

So not only should i shed some from the car but also I should hit the gym and lose a few lbs? Hmm I never knew working out would play such a big part haha. Also as far as cams, what are some good ones to get?
