0-60 comparison


i have a 2000 gt auto and ran a 13.96 stock. i really love the pushrod an i test drive a 1993 gt tomorrow. my question is which is faster stock? and by how much?

I am not sure on this but I think stock 93's run like a lowish 15 or something like that with a good driver and conditions.

yeah, time was before injectors, tb, maf, and cobra computer and i couldnt pull better than a 2.1x 60' cuz of the crappy gearing and my first time on drag radials, ill have times up with 4.10s in a few weeks

No idea with the 0-60 MPH
Assuming the 93 is 100% bone stock with 2.73/3.08 gears, your 2000 in the 1/4 is about 1 second (+-0.5) faster which is about a 140 feet difference which is about 10 car lengths.

when my car had just shorties and off road h pipe and it was a auto it ran 14.21 @98mph all day.

Were you shifting manually or was the tranny in drive when you ran a 13.96? Did u have street tires? DR's? Pretty impressive 1/4 time w/ a stock gt.

93 5.0 with 4.10's should keep up with the newer gt mustangs, as long as you can drive of course

manually shifint it w streat tires but the r 9in so i had some traction
