You can't fit that much filter in the fenderwell. The filter choices are limited, at best.

As far as CAI's go, JLT is the best. The BBK will work, but two things wrong with it. One the maf is behing the bend (been covered already) and the other, its metal. The JLT solves both problems. Cost a little more but gives more power. Will compliment exhaust, intake, head and cam mods a lot more. Like I said the BBK will work, and it is cheaper, but if you are upgrading might as well go all the way or just stick with the one you have in my opinion. The difference between the one you have and the BBK will be about the same as the difference between the BBK and the JLT.

Come to think about it you might be right there. So back to square one with the BBK. That sucks, could have had a few more ponies.

The stock box is a cold air kit. Think about it. Its pulling air from the same place, the fender well. Just take the silencer off. If you don't have one go to the junk yard. Save your money for something really effective like gears.

yes jlt makes them for fox bodys but they dont have it shown on the web site give them a call they are good about taking care of their customers and i have heard of the doing custom made cold air kits
