I don't know for sure. I got good deals on some performer heads, e-303 cam, and performer rpm intake for my carb setup. My heads supposedly have some porting done and they have to 2.02" valves.

They are realy nice quality heads, but I'll bet Everybody on here will tell you to go with Twisted wedge heads or AFR.

I would probably bought TFS or AFR if I spent the money for new heads, but I found a good deal on my Eddy heads. I think I'll be happy with them.

If you get the performer heads, you may think about a rpm intake. Just a thought.

i was looking through a mustang magazine about a month ago and found what appeared to be a great deal from trick flow. if you have the money its a top end kit, advertised that it comes with twisted wedge heads, valve covers, cam, intake upper and lower and it said that more is included but i would guess thats just hardware they are talking about. the price was 2400

Performer heads are high quality. They do not flow as good at TW or AFR 185s (which both flow 250 cfm +), but they do flow close to 230 cfm and have very good low lift numbers. Also there valves and springs are very nice and you almost never hear of quality control issues with them. They also come CNC port matched to felpro gaskets and helicoils in the important bolt holes, so you don't waste any time doing that yourself.

I'm making over 500 hp with mine (with 14-15 PSI...lol). If you find a set for a nice price, I wouldn't hesitate to snatch them up.

Yeah no ported stock head is going to match the performers. I have a set of them and some gt-40 and gt-40ps and just a quick look will shouw how much larger the ports are. Doesn't mean that stock ported can't get some good power going though. I got my performer heads on ebay for around 700-750 including shipping. They have just 2 hours of dyno time on them. That's why I have them. They should do well for you. Hit ebay. Have some patience and bid on some good stuff and get a great deal. The eddy's are good for lower end torque and power.
