turn signal problem

my turn signals stoped working and im not quite sure what it is. i checked the back of the guage pad everything is pluged in, the switch is plugged in the fuse is good (if i used the right fuse, i found a diagram online).

but the thing is that the hazard switch works and the bulbs work when it comes on.

my thought are that the switch on the column is going bad, is there anyway that i can find that out for sure??

just replace the MFS.

Did you not already start a thread about this problem?

i have the same problem. No turn signals, hazards work. i've already changed out the Multi Function Switch bought it at AutoZone. Wells part # 1156 i believe. 90day warranty, but it did cost i believe 120 reman. :/
not to make you loose hope, but it didn't fix my problem. I'm guessing i have a deeper electrical wiring problem.
Be careful putting the MFS switch in and if it doesn't work, clean it up and return it bro.
Let me know what happens.

My cousin had this problem last week. The hazard worked but not the turn signal. After checking for the obvious first, like the flasher and fuse, which were ok, I grabbed an electrical diagram. The problem was a light blue wire that came loose from the the hazard switch. I noticed when these switches are pulled out, sometimes the wires in the back of the connector become loose. You may want to check it first. Hope this helps.

Our car's have two flashers one for hazards and the other for turn signals...
do not buy a new MFS look for the other flasher either above the pedals inside the thing under the steering wheel... or it could be in the glove compartment let me know if u need pics...

ha, that's funny. I just found out about that wire not to long ago. I'm hoping that theirs continuity on that wire. I'm afraid of an open wire somewhere, but what are the chances of that!?!
i haven't had time to check it since I haven't had a day off yet.

he means exactly what he said there sre two seperate flashers in these one for the hazzards and one for your turn signals and they could be in two different places, like the glove box or under the dash

Our cars have 2 flasers... one behind the fuse box... and one above that.. to the right behind the steering wheel a little to the bottom.. and depending on the year it could be behind the glove box... One flasher is for hazards and the other is for turn signals..

all mustang has 2 flashers one on the fuse panel that is for the turn signal and one that is on the pass side of the dash that is for the flashers. If flashers work and turns dont it is either the multi switcher or the relay . . . change the relay at the fuse panel if that dont work make sure that you are getting power at the flasher if not check the switch and make sure that you are getting power to the switch.

This is where mine is on my 88 vert. I had to lay on my back and look way up in the dash. Grab a little flash light and get uncomfortable.
