95' gt

ok. my father was telling me about a black 95' gt he saw at a dealer ship for $4500. he said they had on the window it had a 75mm tb, cai. a cobra cam and a few other thing i can remember. not sure of the mileage tho. and its a 5 speed is this a good price? and can the tail lights on this be changed to the light form the 96-98?

Yes you can change the tail lights and i paid 4000 for mine with 94K on it stock, so i would say good price if it is in good condition.

that seems like a decent price, I don't know why someone would swap a cobra cam into a gt engine though....seems like alot of work for practically no gain

it has 142,000.it was a cobra cam it was a king cobra clutch. bassani x pipe w/cat. flowmaster exhaust. motor sport b cam. 24lb. injectors. 75mm mass air flow. 65mm. tb. 17" cobra r rims. new 245's front. new 275's rear. bbk cai. leather interior. mach 460 stereo. custom ram air hood

always try to negotiate. if they already lowered the price once, who's to say they won't lower it some more just to get rid of it.

normal stuff. drive it and see if it has any bad noises or vibrations, whining or anything.

i'm just going by what i look for in cars. i've never bought one of these with expectations of it being in good shape. mine barely ran when i bought it. i got it just to have a project. i'd take someone with you too. it's a lot easier to walk away from a bad deal if you've got someone there with you telling you not to do it.

not saying that it's gonna be a piece of junk, but just be ready for it to be one. makes it a lot easier if you have someone to talk it over with, other than the guy who's trying to get your money.
