T5 To C4 Tranny Swap

Hello. I have a 88 mustang that i use for the drag strip only. I looking to swap out the t5 to a c4. I know the driveshaft will swap out and the crossmember will as well. is there anyone out there who has done this who could help me. do i need to do anything with the kickdown since this is just a strip car. i know i need a cooler for it. but besides the cooler, shifter, flexplate, is there anything else for the outside of the transmission i need to make this swap. the transmission im getting is complete with converter and bell housing. is there anything else i need

if just a strip car kickdown wont matter. if not hooked up the it wont kick down if needed. if running dual exhaust dont forget the double hump crossmember. be sure to take a little extra time to route shifter cable to keep from binding up in the future. if you have interior dont forget about the console.
