MSD 6AL Buzzing

Hi,,

well,,lately my notch has been breaking up under load,,feels like a ignition problem so i replaced the cap rotor plugs and a new distributor,
and it still breaks up,,i also noticed that my msd box makes a buzzing sound that rises and falls with the rpm of the motor..
any idea on this issue would help,,,

thanks

steve

hey,,,did a lil research..the buzzing is normal from what the tech at msd says,,,and the missing under load, well,,the previous owner wired the msd and come to find out he didnt run the power and negative to the battery as per the msd instructions. From what i've read on the msd site that will cause a misfire under load.

maybe this will help someone else in the future,,

thanks

steve

also just a reminder to make sure you have the rubber inserts that mount between the box and whatever surface you have it mounted to. without those the vibration will kill the box.
