Good deal?? Am i asking too much??

So, Ive owned many mustangs and each time Ive sold them, bam within a week I sold them for what i asked. Ive had my 93 Cobra clone for sale on many forums craigslist...etc for a few weeks now, and barely any hits!!!
Heres a list of the mods: gt40x heads, gt40 intake, e303, 24lb/hr, 70mm tb, crane ingnition, other bolt ons, rebuilt trans and upgraded t5, spec clutch, 373 gears, frpp springs shocks struts, chrome cobra r's, cobra r hood, cervinis 93 cobra full body kit, great condition, always garaged etc...

So I started at 8500, im down to 7500, and I get a bunch of hits on the sites, just no offers.....any opinions????????

too much. i'd say 5500... 6 max. if it had a blower or turbo setup, or was a real cobra, it'd go for that price. especially if it were a cobra. but to a consumer, it's just a regular 93 with a body kit.

but good luck with it. i hope you get what you're asking out of it.

squints is right if it were a real cobra I could see it goin for that much but a regular gt w/ mods is what it is and even w/ everything and all the blood sweat tears and money you dropped in it I could see it go for 6-6500. I'd sya 6500 just to start to give space to drop. Plus you're sellin in a dry market where a lot of people can't afford the gas for that beast. Bump for a nice ride though.

i have seen your ad on craigslist actually and i was thinking it might be a little high but also its not the best time to sell in Michigan!

have you thought about putting it back to stock? its the only way you'll get that much money around here! but good luck...

I got the car appraised for 10k, thats why i put it out for 85, and real cobras in primo condition go for 15k....but I dont have most of the stock parts, but i am giving another motor with it

A car is worth different amounts to different people... I think that real Mustang guys will never pay top dollar for a Fobra (fake Cobra)..but there are people out there who would..

You have to take into account the economy... it's not exactly great right now...plus it's a gas guzzler. Gas is $4.00 a gallon here in Florida. Most people know that it's never going back down so that doesn't help you either.

economy is slow, gas prices are high. Keep at it, you'll get 7500 for it.

I've had a couple of offers for 10K on my faleen.

Yeah i live in Michigan too. Its tough times now, if you done "need" the money now just keep it at the same price. You could try Autotrader.com and/or Ebay if ya really wanna sell it. Best of luck though!

If I was looking to buy. I would jump on it for 7500.00 Seeing as a nice clean "real" cobra will bring 14,000 to 20,000 depending on miles, color & condition..

keep the price but keep in mind that aftermarket parts cant add to the cost of the car. youll never get all your money back from a car that has every aftermarket part out there

I know ill never get the price for aftermarket parts completely back, if i was id be asking like 15 for the car...but I see POS stangs for for 5 and up all day...I just consider my car a lot nicer than those ragged on, beat up stangs that go for almost the same price.

just remember it is a lot harder to sell a 7500 fox than a 4000 fox. Not nearly as many potential buyers. People can't get a 7500 loan for a 93 mustang, so they have to have the cash. Not a lot of people that have that kind of playing around money with the way the economy has been. Eventually you'll sell it, but you have to be patient.

I'm still debating if I want to sell my 89 for 10K or not...should I do it? I really like the car, but 10,000 is like 500 lap dances...lol

way more lap dances than that if you get them at wesley's booby trap in jasper alabama.

you've still got the other one right? just sell it. and fix my car for me with the money. or, put PIITB (bank)

A clone isn't worth anymore than any other GT. Now having the somewhat recent paint will help you if it is clean. I don't think $7500 is out of line but you are probably going to sit on it for a while. Cars aren't moving to well right now and probably won't be for a while. Everyone is feeling the crunch of these gas prices. People are damn near giving away performance cars, trucks and SUVs around here.
