AOD options?.......


alright so i was wondering what possiblities i have to make my AOD a little better without taking it out and rebuiling the piss out of it, maybe a converter?.....you tell me

and if you have a t-5, good for you.....

shift kit is the first thing that comes to mind and possibly a converter

thats what i was thinking.....do i need to worry about anything busting, im not plannin on a tone of power for a while

they are commen for breaking input shafts. lentech makes a 1 peice inout shaft witch is a good investment.

at what hp/tq do they start to break input shafts?

it could break at 300hp. Just depends. Also a good convert is PA trans and also lentech. You get wat you payfor.

Well my Aod has a AOD HP Shift Kit,and a 2400 Stall Converter,and burns tire more than I have seen some 5 speed Foxbodys do.

AOD 1-2-3/4 Shift Pattern (EPOXY Mod) - Click Click Racing Forums this is one of the best auto mustang sites out there drill the valve body ...... it don't hurt anything .... it's cheap and very effective good luck

isnt this referred to as the J mod?

a friend of mine has a mark 8 and he did something very similar
