need help about to pull my hair out


ok here it goes so far ive got my engine in my car its a 347 stroker with ported and polished e-7 heads i have a professional products upper and lower and fuel pressure regulator i have ford racing 24 pound injectors and a c&l mass air tuned for the injectors i have the car at 10 degrees before tdc and the damn thing runs so rich it burns your eyes i have adjusted the fuel pressure regulator trying to get it better but when i get it to idle good when i rev it up it pops through the intake and when i get it to rev good it doesnt idle good and it still runs rich i can get in the car and put it in gear and try to brake torque it and it just pops and wont hardley do shit i also have new 02's and im still running the stock throttle body for now till i get some more money does anybody have any ideas my brains spent please help me out

did you just put the engine in or was it running before fine? I bought my car cheap because the guy was going crazy trying to fix it and it sounded like a very simular problem and he simply had the wiring on the distributer one off . Check your plugs and see what they look like.

I had similar problem also
Check your plugs, See if you have 2 that look like they arent burning or are fuel soaked. If so you have those 2 plug wires crossed. Happened to me! Check your firing order, seems simple but its the simple shit that gets over looked. Also check for vac leak.
Vac leak and crossed plug wires will cause it to pop thru the intake. Crossed plug wires will cause it to pop thru intake and exhaust, because they are trying to fire on the wrong stroke.
