Re: Holley or Trickflow
My buddie had an identical 95 gt with the Systemax heads, intake, and cam. His car made 8 more hp than mine did in the upper rpms, but my car made more average horse power and torque. (on the same dyno) They two setups are so close....one isnt any better than the other. BTW...hows it going neighbor Its a small world isnt it.

He was the one who told me that the two setups are near identical "as cast" in the 1500-6000 rpm range. But that the Holley intake flows slightly better at 6200+ rpms. He also said that the Holley intake responds better to a cnc port job that he has written for the Renegade engine setups...

That question, and how high will my rpm range go up with a top end kit( track heat, or systemaxII)??? 6200 rpms? that is amazing, i feel like my car will blow up at about 5500, but it is all stock. |

i think the rpm would at least stay around 7000 but the power band will be from 1500-5500 rpm at least with the trick flow track heat kit... or thts wht its advertised at
