373 or 410 gears
ok i ran high 14's last year now i have corba intake/ new piston's 'f303 cam ported out gt40'p heads' long tube headers cold air and should i use 3.73 or 410 what would be better its a 5 speed and i want to drive on the street still? any clues on the 1/4 mile time i would have with 410 or 373 with my set up??

well if u drive it on the highway alot go with 3.73's i have 4.10 behing my 5 speed and i am going 55 mph at 2k in fifth gear. i think in your case you should go with 3.73 cause you proly dont go to the track that often

3.73 are the best gear, you may even want 3.55 because you do have some nice mods.

I would probably go with 3.73 if i were gonna do it again. if all else fails go with the 4.10s and some taller tires in the rear. if your gonna run 4.10 with a 28" tire your looking at 2200rpm at 65mph.

I just recently found out that the 3.90 ring and pinion combo is "actually" a 3.89. Its just advertised as a 3.90.

first gear is overrated! lol ya i dont have much of a first gear but its just enough to pull me off the line a hell of alot faster then the other guy...
