New exhaust question?????

I bought the flowmaster 40 series today at the store. My question is should I return them

how loud are they Cause they look like the same size case thats on my car now. But my car isnt that loud

heres my car but in the garage so its louder than normal

I want it to sound louder than it is now lol but my mufflers now dont say flowmaster on them anywhere and they arent coated and rusted soooooo

But they are the same shape and size as flowmasters and look the same as the 40's I just bought

I would return them that is a real bummer. If ya want load ya could just get glass packs they are cheaper and legal (depending on the state) But thats a really bummer about the Flowmasters. I would get my money back. Especially if the other ones still work and sound just as good.
Btw nice 86 you should take some pics sometime, looks sharp in the dark though

not sure but they don't look like 40's.....50's are in the american thunder kit and 40's are louder. Course get some delta 30's and you'd REALLY be loud.

neither muffler sais flowmaster so I'd say they aren't flows and the 40's should be louder...only way to say is make sure the one on the car don't say flow on the top and series. but how they look to me sais no and your 40's should be louder.

They must be flow look alikes lol because I put my hand on top and no where does it say flowmaster on them. And I thought all flowmasters came coated so they dont rust but the ones on my car arent coated anywhere

How long have the other ones been on there? got a guess? Is it possible the coating wore off? ( if they are old enough )

I bought it when they where on there im sure they have been on there for a long time.

But looking at them flowmasters have shitty welds and look like hell and those are more clean. And dont have flowmaster stamped anywhere on them

So if the welds seem better that flowmaster's and are more clean and they sound the same, why are you even replacing them?

I wanted them to be louder lol. Cause these really arent that loud

But I guess ill return them. I dont know what to think tho. I want a louder idle
