need help..

well all..here is my problem..i recently got my notch as most of you know..since then ive had a problem..when i first got the car the motor had to be put in and it need to be tuned no big deal..before the tuning started it wouldnt pull past 3000 rpms and popped out the exaust..so I added a Wideband 02 sensor and tuned it in from there one we got the timing and fuel pressure set right the car pulls like a beast all the way to 6000..not the problem..yesturday i get in the car and wholla it ran like shit again..i shut the car off 10 minutes later it ran perfect again..no problems all day yesturday and all day today.. i get in my car an hour ago..wholla it ran like **** again..not pulling over 2500 and popping out the exaust.. drove it to work and 25 minutes later..it ran strong as hell again.. i m REALLY confused here im supposed to bring it next week to PSI for a dyno day..but untill i find out whats goin on that is in limbo..the distributor is tight the plug wires are new and nowhere near the headers..when it runs shitty it fattens up just a little according to the wideband..so any ideas?? HELP
