Fuel Pressure readings??
I need to know the proper procedure for checking fuel pressure. I hooked up a gauge to the schrader valve and started the vehicle. i got about 37lbs of pressure then when i hit the throttle it would jump to about 40 for a split second then drop off to 30lbs or so. shouldn't it stay consistent?

Remove and plug the vacuum line attached to the FPR. It will stay consistent with that line removed. Stock setting is 39#. Plug the vac line back in when your done
