Question

how much to pay for roll bar wleding?

Ok i have a 6 point roll bar that I need welded. it's all pre notched and I will make sure that when I bring it to the welding shop all the guy has to do is weld, no modification......

It is chrome moley steel so it must be TIG welded!!! theres a total of 12 point to weld the bars together and to the floor...

How much do you think I should pay? (people who have actually had this done please give me input!!!)

thanks in advance guys!!!

You will still need someone in your area to do the work, call some local welders and ask. I've found a few people that charged $35/hr which seemed fair to me considering we had no prior business dealings.

If you dissassembled the interior completely, scrape the floor pans clean, cut and notch the bars, and remove all the insulation and paint in the required areas...and you are going to put everything back together yourself.

Then I would say $300-500. Probably about $1500 for a shop to do everything and custom fit the bars.

lmao, yeah but i might be kicking myself in the ass if I'm barrel rolling at 100mph and the bar sections are flying around in the car hahaha

The car is bare metal inside except for the dash. I found a guy to weld it, i'm probably gonna tell him no more than $400
