It depends on how much he sprays but I would guess 11.5's on the jug and slicks.

I prefer nos and nx kits they are both nice setups.

im more of an all throttle, no bottle kind of guy. but when you build your motor to what you want and its still not enough, n2o is a good way to fix that.

id think that a decent suspension set up would bring his et down to the low 11s

quote from a kid at sheets "everybody knows after you rebuild your motor you always gotta do it again" he threw a supercharger on a similar setup to yours...

the kid was a complete idiot, he thought after you rebuild a motor it'll always blow up the first time so you gotta do it again...but to make things worse he threw a s/c on a high compression motor

yeah with that kind of compression your doin the right thing with getting the n20 and man it likes the compression. And with your setup you should be in the 11s real easy with a little spray and a good tire "MICKEY THOMPSON" or what ever tire you like man. but good luck with it.

I doubt it. For one you would not be filling your car up at gas pumps in California with 12:1 compression. Another thing is I'm sure the stroker kit came with flat top pistons. I haven't seen very many off the shelf 347 kits come with domed pistons. A typical 347 with a flat top piston and a 60cc chamber (same as the RPM heads) will put you at about 10.5:1. Still a bit high for a supercharger and probably a bit high for California gas but will run ok with some timing pulled out of it. Unless you had dish pistons with the stroker kit, you won't be running a supercharger on this engine.

If they are domed you are looking at a minimum of 12.75:1. There are not alot of people running 12:1 on pump gas over there. What you have is alot of people that don't know what their compression ratio is that just spout off numbers. 12:1 on pump gas is not mechanically possible without retarding the timing several degrees which is going to defeat the purpose of the high compression anyway and will make less power than a 10:1 engine with full timing. 12:1 with an aluminum head needs about 104 octane minimum.

I don't think he is throwing numbers around intentionally. It sounds like someone is pumping him full of shit so he doesn't know any better.
