89coupeGT-R

hey whats happening... thought I'd post up some mods I've been working on.

Just got the new seats in... ah the smell of new leather

It's abit different, you either love or hate it.

You'll notice a 2000 cobra R wing
94" tribar rims
(getting these painted black with the outer edge
polished making them 93cobraR's)
2003 mach1 seats (only 2000kms on them!)

will be upping the power with some trickflow twisted wedge heads and S1 cam. Damn I can't wait for paint!

EDIT:

It grows on you. Once it's all painted and clean it will look kinda cool. Good work

those rims are gonna look nice. that was the best part of the 93 Cobra R, in my opinion. it'll be interesting to see how that beast turns out after paint and everything else you do. keep us posted.

Looks great! Minus the wing. Rims look much better than id expected, im not a fan of tri spoke wheels in general, but those seem to fit nicely to fox-body.

I like it! Except for the wing, I didn't like them on the new Cobras. I like the GT effectsI would like to see some nice brushed 5 spoke wheels on it too. Just me though.

The wing isn't sitting at the proper stance at the moment. The new edge cars had more of a front to back angle upwards where the coupe has it downwards. I'm going to have some custom spacers made to pop it up abit in the back and give the tips a steeper angle. Apparently it's supposed to be functional so I'm guessing it needs to be at the proper angle for that.

I'm still torn between making my rims the 93R's and just getting the 2000R rims instead. Might have to do both as I still have another coupe and hatch to build as well.

She's gonna get the cobra bumper insert and the paint will be either
Midnight black with ghost flames
Midnight black to the edge 3" down from the hood and then torch red after that.

it's just money right? I'm about 6grand total right now.

i just looked the vid, sounds wicked! Wish you had revd it more.

Im gonna say black/torch red, and definitely keep those rims. Painted black with polished lip those would fit nicely to black/red car.
