Headlights turn off when foglights are on .

someone want to tell me the easiest way to fix this problem. its really annoying. im driving down the road with the fogs and the headlights on. and everything goes off. i was told its the switch. because of the gauge wire used in the switches is too small and draws too much current. now i just need to know how to fix it.

lol you sound like me a few months ago...........just search the forums and you will get an answer....there is a whole thread on upgrading the system.

im not sure bro all i know is that it does draw alot of currency to use the fog lights i usually dont use them... you really dont need them you know

you have to put in a relay. ford made the headlights and fog lights run on the same wireing and when the wires get hot it kills the head lights until it cools off.

relay or just stop using the fog lights
