19 inj wont support 318hp. so I'm guessing there's a different set of injectors used for that dyno pull.
Yes, the car had 24lbers up until he decided to sell it, then they went to his '95.

patriot heads are now known to have some of their combustion chambers out as much as 4cc. Sooo you get what you pay for.
Patriots are my last resort as of right now. I have a couple leads on some other used heads.

If your going to go forced induction then get a box intake... tfsRbox or the BBKssiR
As of now I have no plans to go forced, although I would love a supercharger. Right now I am pushing it to do these mods.

if you would like to go with a kenne bell 2.2L blowzilla w the flowzilla inlet as a future upgrade then you are in wonderful luck. That blower works best on the gt40 intake. in which case just get that one for now. It'll do enough that the money saved from a better intake can go towards a really nice used set of heads.

if your motor was making 318hp on the 24inj that would stand to reason that your 19's are being overworked and you should be upgrading for sure then. your probably seeing around 280hp on the 19's now. I'd suggest 24's cause once you get a blower you'll just have to upgrade to 42's or 50's.

when your done you'll have nearly 400 - 430hp I figure. maybe a little less with the gt40 intake unlike a twisted wedge or rpm2.

Thanx Demonicus, great tips. Yeah, right now I just can't afford induction but in the future, who knows. So the mods I'm doing right now, will the 24lb injectors handle it? Do you know what they are rated for by any chance?

My reason for liking the GT40 intake is that I like the looks of the new production ones with the polished finish, I think I can squeeze a Trick Flow into the budget, I'm doing it one piece at a time afterall. I can't buy this until I sell that, etc.
