car wont run

well i installed a 5" tach with shiftlight in my car but now the car wont run lol, i ran the tach wires to the back of the fuse block the the green wire from the tach to the negative side of the coil (spliced into the wire) now i go to start the car and it just shuts right off, only stays running while i hold the key completely on. i have heard it could be the relay?? i pulled the tach wire from the coil wire and reconnected the coil wire and it still doesnt work. does anyone think this could be the relay?? and if so where the hell is the relay?? someone please help this is my d.d. lol

key switch has slide..replace it...about 20 bux from NAPA

just could be a one of those things.. but that's your problem takes about 15 mins to replace

you need the igintion switch..not the key....
