Update on Stang Project. Paint color etc.

Well I have been working a bit more on my 95 coupe. My goal now is to get the engine compartment all finished up. I am welding in some delete panels and generaly smoothing the compartment. Going to bedline the compartment. (Before bed liner) Next I am going to do the body work. Has 1 or 2 good dents in the doors and some small dings/smoll dimples. Then prep and paint. I ordered pain today. I will be spraying it myself. It's my first time so I'll practice some first. It's single stage graphite silver metalic. Should look good with my polished cobra rs. Also I painted the valve covers, air cleaner and intake and set them on a block to see how it'll look. The pic with the grey plastic thing is the color for the car. Bla, bla, bla...sorry it's so long. I just wanted to share how it's going. Do you like the color scheme?

Thanks. I'm basicly tearing the whole car down and replacing all the bushings, hoses, bearings, rewiring the whole car, bodywork, paint, engine swap, tranny swap, rear swap, new carpet, seats, stereo system and on and on. Ahhhh! It's going to take forever, but It'll be a brand new car when I'm done.

The block is not ready yet. I just set the stuff on to see how it'll look. What do you think, Paint the block black of the same color as the other stuff?
Ohh, the color I painted the valve covers etc is Duplicolor high heat Cast Iron. Then several coats of Duplicolor high heat clear. Find it at any auto parts store. Trying to keep it classy and fairly low key. No bright yellows or anything like that.

I think the block black if possible. Black will still look black after it starts to seep oil or you spill stuff on it and it collects dirt. Black engines look new a lot longer.
