alternator bracket!!!!


can i use a fox body alternator bracket on my 95 gt.is the block the same,will it bolt right in?

possibly, its not hard to get them on and off just try it. you may have to file the fox bracket down for your 95's alternator.

Almost anything is possible with a die grinder, cut off wheel and tig welder. Usually just a little reconfiguring here and there. I modified one to eliminate the spring loaded belt tensioner and then eliminated the AC and air pump

I believe the bracketry is different because the timing cover is shallower. I don't remember for sure because its been so long since I've worked on one with stock brackets. If I remember correctly you need the brackets and timing cover off the same body style to work together. Brackets and timing cover from a fox body will work on an SN95 and brackets and timing cover from an SN95 will work on a fox body. I could be wrong but I believe that is how it goes.

the pulley system on the 94/95 is closer to the block. You can do some fab work but my guess is it'll be easier to just get one from the wrecker if you dont have a welder
