11.8 on 245 street tires.

We'll went to the track again this weekend. I ran it on my non-drag radial 245 yokohama street tires with a best of an 11.8 @ 122 with a 1.9 60 foot.

Still no decent passes. Need to get some real tires.

About 1500 rpms, just enough to keep it from falling on its face. Track prep was really good, they were running SC cars so the track was very well taken car of.

Water box is for slicks not street tires, does nothing but get street tires wet man, doesn't do anything for you.

I'm pretty sure I know what I am doing. If you run better on street tires, let me know and I'll consider changing what I do.

That is pretty darn good on a street tire. Looks like you got the street tire thing figured out.

Ha! I really want to see that car on some good slicks. Launching @ 1500 RPM and still pulling off an 11.8 @ 122 is

122 mph is 11.10s-11.20s right there, plus no traction, plus shitty 1.9 short time = bad ass street car. btw nice time for street tires

when rubber warms up it gets softer, softer rubber will grip the ground better.

warming tires=good slicks or not

A lot of people say that, but I was able to pull off better launches with a burnout; it probably depends on the tire that your using, compound tread pattern etc.

when you spin you will have a higher trap speed and 1.9 is a good 60 for street tires but non the less very nice!!!!!
