torque box reinforments?


any really good companies that have amazing products for this, im not exactly 100% sure on whats good for torque boxes but im going to be running slicks soon and i deffently dont want to ripp apart my rear suspension,


any suggestions?

weld them up around the seams. If you are going to running really fast 60 foot times like faster than 1.4-1.5, then get the kit from laurel mountain and bolt and weld it in.

UPR kit was pretty easy install.
Ridiculously over priced for a couple bent pieces of metal though.

Just got mine in the mail today from UMI performance. They look pretty good, but it looks like im going to have to do a little trimming/coaxing of the hole in the lower tq. box to get the angle pieces to fit! Got my lowers for 39.99 plus shipping. Now my buddy is wanting to copy them and build his own, lol! I guess someone has to spend the money.

They fit without trimming the hole, just takes some time to get them in there. Took me about a half an hour to get my driver's side one in.

well im looking at the wild rides racing ones, (battle boxes)
for 100 bucks they seem pretty damn good! and my friend has em and he had no but good to say about em, they weld/bolt under the car as well as inside under the back seats

when i got my subframes put in i had him weld the shit of the torque boxes and anywhere the arms went into the frame he welded real good for 100.00
