practice in a parking lot and get your sweet spot down first.

start at 2k, keep increasing it till you spin then drop back down a bit

And then once at the track realize that the track surface is completely different

Practive make perfect. Every track will be different, the same track will be differnt on a different night, but if you know roughly where to lauch it will help u find the sweet spot (for launch at the track not the back seat) faster. With street tires your goin to have to ride the clutch, try to keep it a minimal as possible and just have fun!!

I've only been to one track but went down it about 100 times. I got much better traction on the street. Well I would not say the traction was worse at that track but once it broke loose it was almost impossible to get it to stop. With my very limited knowledge, I'd say it will probably be a lot different in one way or another.

Pull up till both lights are lit, put car in reverse, rev to redline, dump clutch.

on street tires try to avoid the water and you really dont need much of a burnout just a little to get any water or oils off the tires....the water is only gonna hurt you on street shoes... and like everyone else said just start at about 2000 rpm's and dump it and go up from there till you find the spot it hooks ....if you break loose back down a little... but do not ride the clutch all you are gonna do is burn up your clutch doing that ...do a search or ask ryan to post his video again he launches at like a 5 grand dump....pretty sick

MAKE SURE YOUR A/C IS OFF !!!!! ( if you still have it )
don't let air out of your rear tires or they'll cup 20 - 25 pounds will be ok, pump the fronts up to 45 - 50 psi do a moderate burn out start with about 2400 rpms and let the clutch out very quickly, if it spins try a little less powershift cool the car between passes , place a towel on your intake and put a bag of ice on it, or at least pop the hood to let the heat out take out all the crap in your hatch/ back seat
