No Electrical forum?
Anyways, not sure if its the right spot, but move if needed. Anyone have or know of a website where I can find the wiring diagram for the horn on a 88 GT? My horn isn't working so I decided to check the fuses and sure enough the fuse that goes there isn't there. So I pulled out the proper amp fuse from another location and put it in its spot. As soon as it contacted the metal the horn sounded. Just as I suspected. Either the owner before me was to cheap to have it fixed or it was another way for a hillbilly redneck mechanic to fix the problem.

Well I'm working on. Once I put the fuse in, it sounded soooo damn weak but got better. I wonder if it scared the shit out of whatever might be in the horns (if anything) lol

Most likely its your switch. All the switch does is make contact with ground when you push it. Either the clock spring went bad and grounded out or the switch is just permenantly touching metal. I would pull it apart and have a look.
...and there is an electronics forum in the general tech section. |

In your steering wheel itself. I've never had a stock wheel on my car so I don't know what they look like or how they come apart.
