Sick of it!

Today my friggin hood blew up at 35mph. My fault. But now I have a 1/4 panel that needs some rust fix, a screwed up cowl and rocker panel rust that needs fixed. Didnt hurt the roof or the windshield. I did mess up the hood but I have a spare hood.
Im about sick of repairing this car. Ive already fixed the floor pans, fixed a bunch or wiring. Changed the steering column cause someone jacked it up. Swapped the front end to 86 style (79 original). Swapped to 86 doors cause mine were rusted on the bottoms.Put in new dash bezel, heater core, and dash cover. Needs new fenders and deck lid. the rest is ok. I just aint got the time or the finances.

I just feel this car isnt worth it anymore to me. I am debating on pulling all my drive train and most the interior and selling the car to someone who has the time for it. And buying a body in better shape.
here a pic of todays damage. I know it doesnt look that bad, but its very discouraging.

that sucks man, sorry to hear about that. are you goin with another 4 eye or are you updating. im gettin discouraged with my 83 right now, or i was. i just found a new 87-92 motor, rebuilt aod tranny, and driveshaft for 200 bucks.

im thinking about letting go of my pride and goin with an aero next year, but then again, i might have too much pride to do so.

do u not have a latch? i had my hood go up on my on 4 differnt occasions with my 85 i was dumb and didnt put the pins in and i took the latch off (ooh its just unnessassary weight) and i had a 2.5" fiberglass cowl hood so not only did i have to fix the hood and the cowl(hood) pushed the cowl(on the car) in and shatterd the plastic vent but i did it 4 times.. man that sucked..

No shit, and I was lucky enough to find one for my car at a wrecker which was going to save me a ton. Pissed me off when I realized it was a different style.

get an 89, the airbag steering wheel sucks in the 90-93 cars and it doesn't tilt.
