New progress on summer build with pics

Well guys I just couldnt stand to let my car sit all summer as I save up for a 347 shortblock for woody. I have trick flow 205cc cnc heads that I'm waiting to put on my new motor. And after 180,000 miles and 30+ bottles of nitrous my motor finaly gave up. The funny part was I hadn't sprayed it in 5 weeks when it blew and there was no signs of the car ever going lean. Any guesses?

Any ways I bought my friends stock rotating assembly and b cam and erson cam 1.6 rockers for 200 bucks. Did new rings and bearings, chain and oil pump and he was nice enough to let me use his heads. We can't figure out what they are. There Iron they say windsor, they have bigger ports and valves than my stocks and they have multiple bolt patterns for headers.

I Know they made a big ass differnce on his car so I'm hoping for the same. Any way's I know it's not the best but it's better than my all stock motor lol. And it's just for the summer till I get my short block to my heads on. Here's some pics of the final product.

All I have to do Is hook the small shit and hope she pops off consedering this is my first rebuild I've done. Let me know what you guys think and be gentle I'm a rookie

you have one hell of a nice friend haha

the motor looks really good.
what intake are you using?

and to find out exactly what windsor heads, get the serial number off of them and someone here could tell you what they are exactly.

look on the very front of them, im guessing they might be world products windsor jr heads, with a 180cc intake runner and 1.94 1.60 valves but i do not recall if my windsor sr's had windsor stamped in the rocker valley.

The number on them would be on the front of the head kind of in the middle but you might haft to scrape the paint off the find it though b/c it is just scribed on there its not stamped.

They are Windsor Jrs. An aftermarket head from World products

Windsor Jr. & Sr. High Performance 302 351 5.0 Small Block Ford Cylinder Heads

Pretty good heads...not the best...but better than stock by far.

So you guys think It'll run decent? The motor will be fresh and I'll still be running the 150 shot, I just bought some bbk equal lenghts, wich will complete my exhaust,as i all ready have catless h and slp cat back. I also did a king cobra clutch and I all ready have 3.73's. Next I'm gunna order the trick flow track heat r manifold with the nitrous manifold spacer. I think this will be a fun set up for the summer but I can't wait to order my short block and put my trickflow 205's on. What do you guys think made that piston do that? There was a chunk missing out the side and the whole top ring was gone through the heads lol. I was just cruising down the high way and boom lol Thanks for the replys guys

I have a very similar setup to him and I made 270hp and 310tq to the wheels. My setup is windsor jr's, e-cam, edelbrock performer intake, shorties, h-pipe,and 373's.
