Mid and up fox bodies with a 5L will have the 8.8.

You can find them in other vehicles. But your best bet would be one out of a mustang already. Saves you tons of trouble. I was gonna grab one out of a truck, but than you got to relocate everything. So I waited till I found one for my year Fox.

True, didnt think of that. But you could always use a little bit of a wider rim to make up for it!
And ya, drums, you'd have to convert them over to a 5lug disk.

87-88 turbo coupe rears....8.8 and 3/4 inch longer than a fox rear plus you get disc brakes and they had either 355 or 373 gears dependin on if it was auto or manual. Best bet would be find an sn95 though.

Ya, your better off finding one thats already ready for your car. It will save you tons of time and money! Like I said, if its to wide, than you gotta cut it, relocate your shock mounts, if its off a truck, than it was made for leafsprings.. Theres lots of shit that happens.

Look for an SN95 8.8

Thanks alot guys. You all have been very helpful. I think the best thing to do is find one off a sn95 and replace the gears.
