what would you do?


Ok if you guys were going to build a fuel injected big in windsor [408] what would you do to it.

I would like to build one and would like to hit the 450-500rwhp mark on motor

I was thinking a set of dart 225cc heads, trick flow box r upper and a custom grind hydraulic roller, just something i want to try and i want to see what it would do untuned do you think 500rwhp untuned is out of hand.

it will see nitrous duty as well but i would like to hit 450-500 rwhp on motor

I'd build it just like the one I'm building now which will make 675-700 horsepower naturally aspirated and run on pump gas. I'll have dyno numbers after its finished. As always it has a set of Trick Flow CNC 225 R-series heads. After what I've done with that head in the past I feel it is the best 225cc head on the market. I'd also use a solid roller. You are going to need an aftermarket EFI system. For one you will need to get rid of the factory 6250 fuel cut off as this engine is going to peak in the 6500 rpm range and you will need to cut the percentage down of fuel at start up with big injectors or it will flood the engine when you start it.
