electric fans

so i have two electric fans running on my car and ive come to notice its pulling alot of power. and its straining the hell out of the alternator. more then it should as its a 130A alternator. thats just idling with my stereo off and no lights or other acc on.

i have the fans wired in series and im thinking that might be why if i wire them in parallel could it change how much power they pull?

i know if you wire speakers in parallel it increases resistance, and series lowers resistance but does it change how much power its running?

in parallel they will draw more current. lower resistance = higher current draw at the same voltage.

With that said, they should be wired in parallel anyway or they are both performing poorly because you will have a big voltage drop.

i might have to cause the pulley is pretty massive that came with it.

also does anyone know where i can get a smog pump delete bracket at cause the belt routing isnt working. if i go to a smaller pulley on the alt the belt would prob rub itself.
