frying solenoids???? help


my mustang is carberated and wired for the gm hei conversion. the only way the car will start is with a new solenoid. once the car is runing the solenoid ends up smoking and gets fryed. where do i start...

Poor chassis grounds and or miss routed wiring. Take a pic of how your solenoid is wired. that might help.
