Started the top end build

Finally picked up the last few odds and ends to get this started. I figure it'll take me 2 - 4 weeks to finish, as I only have a few hours a night to work on the car.

Things that will be tossed on:

TFS Street Heat Heads
TFS Stage 1 Cam
TMoss ported lower for the TFS heads
Accufab 75mm TB
SCT 2400 90mm MAF
42# injectors
JLT 4" CAI
MSD 6AL
Ajustable FPR and gauge

I'm also going to be tossing in the 93 Cobra booster while the blower is off for next years big 5 lug upgrade, as well as fixing the f**king vibration coming out of the Tremec @ 70 mph in 4th.

Can I plug the smog crap at the back of the heads, and just modify the plumbing from the smog pump to run to the exhaust?

Here's some progress pics:

Since you have TFS heads they might be on there now, if not i can get u part# if needed. Take the smog tubing off and down by the h-pipe just crimp the tube and weld it shut.

Thanks guys - that tube behind the head annoys the heck out of me. I think I actually ordered two extra threaded inserts from TrickFlow when I bought the heads.

e3sean - I liked your blue hoses so much, I just ordered a set for my car!

My original setup was simply the Kenne Bell @ 8psi, with a 255 lph in the tank. I only put 94 octane in the car. I've been piecing this together for a while - I should have had it done last summer but oh well.

I'm thinking of bumping the boost with this setup to 9psi before I have the car dyno tuned. Do you guys think the 255lph in tank pump will be enough, or should I get an additional inline pump?

The ported lower:

The Accufab TB:

Dropped the exhaust and shimmed up the Tremec - it was sitting way too low - put in the original exhaust hanger, and 3 washers a side. Now it looks lie it should.

Coming along faster than I thought. Once all my gaskets and new bolts arrive, I can start putting it back together.

Yes you'll be fine with 255lph.
