Shifting to 2nd
I replaced my second gear in my T5. i changed the syncro. It still does not go into second properly. I have a new clutch, TO bearing, cut flywheel and new clutch cable. What could be the prob?

how did the teeth on the gear look where the syncro engages? If they were damaged, it needed to have been replaced. also, look for a bent shift fork and /or the plastic pads being damaged or worn

Shift forks were fine, pads changed syncro replaced. One person said it could be the slider that the fork sits on

that comes as part of the syncronizer which you replaced, right? Or did you just change the springs and inserts on the syncronizer?

After a road test I noticed that it goes into 2nd smoothly when I am above 2000 RPM. What do you think?????
