good deal?.....procharger


i dont really plan on forced induction any time soon, and dont really have the money like some people on this fourm *cough RYAN cough*, or feel i need to max out all my credit cards *cough SEAN cough*. but i do think this is a hell of a deal

talk to ryan about used superchargers.haha lol. I would check it out in person before i bought it but like you said that is a good deal.

If it really comes with everything then yeah its a good deal...i think the D-1 comes with a 3 core intercooler...15-25 psi...dont quote me on it but i think thats the D-1...

It does not necessarily come with the larger intercooler.

Here are the things to do.
1) ask about what bracket, # of rib pulley set up, if it is a self contained unit (D1 has a self contained and non-self contained unit, ask what the serial number is

2) call procharger with the serial number and ask them what the history of the head unit is, they will be able to tell you when it was purchased and what maintenance has been performed

3) ask for pictures, ask about oil leaks, look for evidence in the pictures for oil leaks

4) figure an extra $200 for procharger to replace the front seal and to do a complete cleaning inspection before you put it on your car.

It is a good deal

All in all, it was a hassle with mine, but still a great deal in the end...nothing like adding 200 hp for $2500.
