aeromotive fuel pump trouble

I have an aeromotive a1000 in-line fuel pump. It has recently gotten really loud at pressure up and continues to be that way all through driving. Also the fuel pressure gauge is jumping back and forth between 38 and forty psi. Also when the boost is building the fuel pressure is not building with it. What is my problem and how can it be fixed?

Your pump is probably failing.

The earlier Aeromotive pumps had problems with the glue holding
the internal magnets in place.

Supposedly the newer ones fixed this, but I cringed and crossed my
fingers when I bought mine too.

My tuner calls MSD ignition boxes and Aeromotive fuel pumps
"necessary evils". They both have high failure rates, but are the best
thing to get with out getting really expensive all out race components.

and mine is insanely loud in normal operation, cant imagine what one "making noise" must sound like
