Will OE 93 cobra rims fit my 91 LX?

Will 1993 cobra rims fit my 1991 5.0 LX? I wasn't sure if they would or not i have cobra replicas on my mustang now and they are 17x8.5 they rub in the front if i turn hard and i found some OE cobra rims and i thought they had different spacing or something but the seller has no clue and i don't know for sure. I appreciate any advise i can get, thank you in advance.

as long as both cars are either 4 lug or 5 lug they should fit fine.

if there were different offsets of the wheels, from like the 5 star ponies, to the OE cobras, what would that affect, if anything, do you know?

it depends on the offset but I bet it's not much if your swapping from OE to OE.

you do remember correctly. My only concer is that there is an offset or something that may cause the OE 93 cobras to not fit my 91 LX.

The wheels will work fine. I had them on my 1990 GT and loved them. You will get a slight rub on control arm when fully locked due to offset. They ar 17X7.5 wheels.

Cobra wheels are 17x7.5 and the rears have a different offset to compensate for the longer rear axle.

The aftermarket 93 cobra rims WILL fit on a 93 cobra. You just have to get GT rotors for the front and you have to fender roll the fenders if you lower your car.

The aftermarket 93 cobra rims are not made for a 93 cobra which sucks because we 93 cobra owners hate seeing our rims that were made for our car's on anything but a 93 cobra.

The 93 Cobra uses the same front brakes as the 87-93 Mustang GT. The 93 Cobra R had the 13" rotors. The offset in the rear is the issue because the axle is 3/4" wider on each side than a GT axle.

You need to get your fax straight before you post. We OWN a 93 cobra and just went through this whole ordeal. The front calipers might be the same between the cobra and the gts but the rotors are different. The hats on the front rotors are 3/4" wider than the gt.

This is why if you put 93 cobra rims on a gt they are 3/4' inset and look like shit. You must use wheel spacers.
