i went out this morning and adjusted the fuel pressure and the idle and timing. its running alot better there is smoke coming from the driverside collector when i gas it and let off so i need to put the pipe on better. it revs to 6k a hell of alot faster. i havent launched it or stomped it while driving yet i want to fix the exhaust... but good news no lifter tap anymore

i think i still have that problem i am taking them out and having them all tested and rebuilt and flow matched i dont want to worry about it any more its time for me to stop being cheap!!!

i hate it i have no problem spending a few hundred on something un nessassary but when it comes to spending 120 on something i need i am too cheap and end up spending twice as much trying to take the chepa way out!!!

Haha, yea I wouldn't know anything about that... I only have 8k into a 306 that I probably did everything twice on for that exact reason. Had I not been el cheapo, I probably could have had it done for about 4k doing it once the right way. Being cheap doesn't always work out the way you planned
