if you go to 5 lug then you can have hot wheels.

drum brakes in the rear with 4 lugs and my car ran a 11.22 on mt street radials with no problem i think it is a waste of money for all that work

yeah well when im done with my build up of my car I promise you I will run in high 8's low9's, im not doin this conversion as a street car, when my baby's done she's gonna be strictly a dragcar.

Then you might as well get 35 spline axles, spool, 9" ends and alot of bracing right now while you have it apart. Prepare to spend at least $4000 on the rear end to go that fast.

oh im puttin in bout 10,000 grand in rear end and suspension upgrades. well that would include tires and rims also. but ya'll dont have to say all this a simple yah go for it or your crazy would of worked just fine...lol

10,000 grand or 10 grand? 2 very different amounts haha

Thanks alot did a quick search and found the kit, heres a link.
Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-2300-K*] Looks like its all you would need to do a real nice job but $2659 is alot of $$$ just to improve wheel selection! I'm sure it would be a big brake performance upgrade too but just to change over to 5-lug rims its too much $$$ for me. Thats nearly as much as a 427fe genesis block! If money wasnt a problem I wouldnt hesitate to buy it as it looks like top quality stuff. I just wanted a bigger selection of rims, my car is mostly stock and will probably stay that way for awhile yet.

I wouldnt even consider the 2300K kit, because Baer makes similar kit (13" front, 12" back) that costs under $2000. But still a lot of money just to get bigger wheel selection.
