Flexplate Difference
besides the 7 teeth what is the difference between 164 th and 157 tooth flex plates. i am converting over from a t5 to a c4 the transmission i ordered has a 157 th bell housing. am i going to have any problems on my 88 mustang with this setup.

need to make sure that the 157 tooth is balanced at 50oz like your 164 was...many of the 157s are 28oz

The 164 tooth is a bigger diameter than the 157 tooth. They have specific bellhousings.
