Bad Lag Help plz

My 94 GT has been running really bad lately once i start it up it will run good and strong for about 10 min. then the rest of the day it sucks. I will step into the gas and it seems like the motor is holding back. When it runs strong my car pulls really hard in 2nd at 4k but when it lags it will not go anywhere but it seems to run better when i get the accelerator about 25% down.

I have changed the Spark Plugs and wires, Fuel Filter, and MAF Sensor but it still seems to act up. Any ideas??

it would make sence once it warms up and the water pressureizes and seeps into the cylender it will jack up the air fuel ratio and u would loose power..

Test the coolant temp sensor. A simple google search will tell you what the specifications should be. You might be able to find the specs on Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts websites. If that checks out, pressure test the cooling system with the car warm.

That should only effect the idle, and the idle would be better when warm with a bad iac

His car is fuggin up when warm.

This is exactly how mine was acting as well..... All the symptoms of a blown head gasket without the compression loss or oil/antifreeze mix.

Definitely a possibility as well but I'd check the easy things like the coolant temp sensor and a cooling system pressure test first.
