cobra brake swap

I have a 1993 mustang coupe with the suspension/running gear off a 2000 mustang gt. It has stock brakes on it. I found a set of cobra brakes/struts/calipers off a 96 cobra. Will they work on a 2000, and is it worth the trouble swapping them?

Yeah, you can bolt on the calipers/caliper brackets with a new set of pads (and rotors unless the ones you are getting are REALLY clean) then you will just need a set of hoses and banjo bolts to match the calipers and you're set, I would say it's worth the time to swap, and you don't need to change the struts.Depending on how cheap you are getting the parts and what kind of condition/miles are on them you can do this upgrade with parts from your local parts store for real cheap, you just won't have calipers that are painted pretty and say cobra on them, but they are just the same where it counts when you're stopping.
