aod transmission questions
i have a 87 mustang gt 5.0 that i am replacing the tranny in and i got another aod tranny. the guy that i got it from says its from a 84 mustang 5.0 and that it would bolt straight up. the only difference that i see is that the bracket that the tv cable attaches to is pointing up on the tranny i bought and it is facing down on the old one. i am not sure if it is just suppose to be like that and it will still shift in the same order or if it will shift the opposite. if it is suppose to be facing down is there a way to pull it off to swap it so it is facing down or to replace it with the one on the other transmission. if anyone could please help let me know. thanks.
