Will it fit???
I was wondering if a set of rims from a fullsize Bronco would work on an '87-93 Fox with the 8.8" rear, and 5-lug conversion? The rims are 10" wide, but im not sure if there would be enough clearance with the backspacing....
Also, will a starter solenoif off a Bronco work for a fox?

as far as the tires, just go to put on the rear two, and see what spacing you got, it wont kill ya to do the lil extra work that will take. As far as the starting solenoid, hell dont know for sure so yeah call the parts stor like 91cobra said they can tell ya if it will or not.

Also, I was wondering if the 9" rear end from my Dad's '80 F-150 would fit in a fox without mods?

Should be the same. Ford used that starter solenoid for almost all there vehicles from the 70's all the way up until they switched to DIS in the mid 90's Just go to the parts store and get a new one. They are like 5 bucks...
No You will need to do some fabbing. And If I am correct the axle shaft length is too long also and will need to be shortened to fit..

Any machine shop should be able to do your shaft but you need to tell them the length you need. Shouldn't be hard to do swapping over though.

I know it didn't cost my friend much when he had it done on his truck. You don't really need the 9" unless you're pushin some outrageous power. They are kinda nice though bein able to pull the whole hogs head out.

A full size Bronco should have a 5x5.5 bolt pattern, typical Mustang conversion axles (Bronco II, Aerostar, the kits etc..) are 5x4.5. Unless you have something different from the norm, the rims are not going to fit.
Like others stated, the solenoid is the same.

well, i would just use the entire rear end, after modification, and use some rims that will fit on the rear, and find similar ones for the front lol.

Its up to you but...
Have you actually considered the time and cost to get that Bronco or F150 rear in the car compared to finding a 8.8 for a Mustang used for $100-500 that will bolt right in. You will also end up with two different rims unless you can get 5X5.5 rotors to fit the front spindles and get them to work with the existing calipers. Good luck with that.

it sounds like you are going to do a lot of work that you do not need to, the 8.8 could handle almost anything you can throw at it like the others said unless you start making darrell power and for the axles, the 4 lug can handle the power as well, there is just a much bigger rim selection for the 5 blolt pattern
